In 2011 I got married to my prince charming. I expected that we would be like most everyone else when we got married, that I would get a job, we would get a house, have some kids and live a normal life. So far, this hasn’t happened (other than we JUST bought a house!).
My health became bad after getting married. The initial reason was because of birth control which wreaked havoc to my whole system. I finally got off of those about the same time that we moved. Since I had gotten off the pill my health was improving and I figured it would be no time before I would be working and living a normal life.
Boy, was I ever wrong. In 2013 my health officially fell apart.(The pill was a contributing factor, but an overexposure to radiation caused my health to plunge. I’ll write more about this in my ebook and blog) Almost overnight, I had severe insomnia (this had never been an issue in my life before. Ever!), severe hormonal imbalance (which resulted in excruciating ovarian and breast fibroids, severe menstrual cramps, a period which lasted for months at a time, nausea and weight gain), mineral imbalance, electrolyte imbalance, adrenal fatigue, thyroid dysfunction, severe hypoglycaemia, liver problems, very fast metabolism, very high heart rate, severely cramped muscles and more.
For many months I got between 3-6 hours of sleep a week. I was absolutely EXHAUSTED! Parts of my hair was turning grey. My face had a yellow tint to it. I was hungry all the time and gaining weight. I couldn’t exercise or else all my symptoms got immediately worse. I knew that if I didn’t do something quick, something really bad would happen. Not sure what, but when you are at rock bottom, you know it.
My body couldn’t continue functioning on practically no sleep. I spent much of my time online, researching as well as writing to doctors around the world, trying to find answers.
I have learned SO MUCH through this process and I can say that it won’t be long until I am totally well. I have improved so much that there is definately a big light at the end of this tunnel!
I am currently writing an ebook explaining my whole story, struggle, and victory with my health. I will let you all know when it is published!
I have decided to start a blog because since I have been posting pictures of my food on instagram and facebook, and talking about how what I am doing is helping, a lot of people have started writing to me telling me their health problems and asking me questions. Some of these people have asked for me to write a blog.. so here it is!
Since I have been SO sick, I have such sympathy for others that are struggling. I have found that there ARE answers for most anything. Just because your doctor says you’re fine, or that there’s nothing that can be done, don’t take that as the final answer.
I want to share with you what I have been through, what I have learned and what I continue to do to not only continually improve my health but also to maintain health in this very toxic world.
I would love to hear from you! If there is anything that you want to know or ask, please send me a message and I will get back to you quickly!
